Recently our tutor gave a quick, open brief based on Tony Benn's book, '
Letters to my Grandchildren'. His idea was for us to take something from the book and submit a response to it with the idea being that it appeals to the younger audience that the book is intended for. (Instead of the front cover that they ended up using)
I picked up on a small part in the book and thought I'd make an illustration for it:
"In my lifetime I have seen the collapse of the British Empire, the decline of the American Empire and the rise of the Chinese. Who knows what you will see in your lifetime"
