Shoko received a box of Japanese grub this week. It included Instant Ramen, Ocha, Soy Sauce and a jar of red things that I couldn't identify. I enjoyed drawing these packets and labels though so I might do some more and make something out of it.....Dunno what though.

what a happy find! just love your work - is it hand rendered of with 'illustrator' I wonder. It just reminded me of happy moments with Pantone pens! those were the days!

Yeah, It's all hand drawn. I used to work a lot with Illustrator but fell out of love with it a while back.
I've recently discovered the joys of Berol pens though, ever used some of those bad boys?
yup! but i always found them to be a bit scrappy - with Pantone (if you did it the right way) you got lovely smooth flat colours and you could get high on the fumes! ah those were the days! i just love everything about your blog but especially your work!
